Your adventure includes a trek through the most scenic section of the Path of the Gods, where panoramic views of the coastline unfold before you. Following this exhilarating walk, indulge in leisurely beach time in the charming Conca dei Marini. Immerse yourself in history with a day trip to Pompeii and the awe-inspiring crater of Mount Vesuvius, offering a unique perspective on the region's volcanic past. Discover the timeless charm of Ravello, followed by a blissful beach retreat in the quaint town of Atrani. Ascend Mount Faito via a scenic cable car ride, taking in breathtaking vistas before descending to explore Sorrento at your own pace, where history and local flair beckon in equal measure. We’ve got a local’s knowledge of the coastline while staying at the family-run Hotel Due Torri in peaceful Bomerano provides the perfect balance to the often-bustling Amalfi Coast.

Amalfi all-year-round

Although exploring the Amalfi Coast on foot during the summer offers a unique and immersive experience, we also offer regular departures all-year-round. Outside the summer period, we follow a slightly more challenging programme, which includes the full Path Of The Gods all the way down to Positano and the impressive Monte Tre Calli Walk. Local guides keep you well informed about local traditions and cultural-social sensitivities.
This trip brings income and opportunity to the destination community through the inclusion of locally owned hotels, restaurants, and other enterprises, and by championing locally produced food wherever possible.
We spend the week in the family-run Hotel Le Due Torri in Agerola, a relatively unknown area of Amalfi, so our guests are providing income to an area that does not usually benefit from tourism.
Guests often have the opportunity to learn from their hosts how to prepare a traditional Neapolitan pizza which is a great cultural experience.
During this trip we visit a local mozzarella factory and all money spent here goes directly to supporting and maintaining this very traditional family business.

How this trip helps protect and conserve local landscapes and nature.

By travelling in a small group we ‘tread lightly’ to minimise our impact on local resources and the environment.
We work with our partners on the ground to proactively reduce waste; this includes eliminating all single-use plastic water bottles by providing refills for reusable bottles.
Erosion on and adjacent to popular paths is a growing problem and our trip leaders encourage clients not to stray from paths to minimise this.
With our partners, Rewilding Apennines, we rewild 100 square meters (1,075 sqft) of land per passenger who travels with us.

Planet

How we seek to keep the carbon footprint of this trip low.

Accommodation and restaurants in the itinerary use locally sourced food which has not been transported long distances.
The Hotel Le Due Torri has installed solar panels which provides hot water for all rooms all year round.
Walking trips like this have very little detrimental impact on the environment and the locals, as it is a quiet, low impact activity requiring comparatively few resources to support.

Tips for sustainable travel on this trip

Leave no trace: we do all we can to ensure we leave no rubbish in the wild and beautiful places we visit; we ask that you do the same. If there are no recycling facilities in-country, consider bringing recyclable materials home with you.
Plastic waste reduction: please bring a reusable water bottle on this trip, also consider avoiding single-use hotel toiletries, which generate a large amount of plastic waste.
